Job Description:EPITECFinancial Analyst 2Work Location: 3 MacArthur Place, Santa Ana, CA, USAWork Schedule: Fully OnsitePay: $38an hour no C2cAssignment Length: W2 Contract 12 monthsKey ResponsibilitiesKorean and English Bilingual Strongly PreferredManage asset accounting and lifecycle tracking within ERP systems, including capitalization and depreciation processes.Track and analyze IT and logistics-related costs, including accruals and variance reporting.Monitor and control overhead (OH) expenses, identifying drivers behind budget vs. actual variance.Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and inventory adjustments in compliance with GAAP.Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for operational and departmental expenses.Prepare and analyze monthly logistics and transportation reports.Develop and track KPIs and financial metrics to support business decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and financial processes.Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased reporting efficiency.Work Environment & ScheduleFully onsite – Santa Ana, CA40 hours/week (standard business hours)Collaborative, cross-functional finance and operations environmentAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlines is criticalRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field2–4 years of experience in accounting, cost accounting, or operational financeAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic macros)Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysisStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred QualificationsBilingual Korean/English (written and verbal)Experience with ERP systems and/or logistics tools (TMS/WMS)Familiarity with Tableau or Power BIBackground in logistics, transportation, or supply chain financeExperience supporting month-end close and audit processesTop SkillsTechnicalFinancial reporting & variance analysisBudgeting & forecastingAdvanced Excel (data analysis & reporting)ERP systems & financial systemsKPI tracking and cost analysisSoft SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently under deadlinesCross-functional collaborationCritical thinking and problem-solvingClear communication of financial insightsAdditional Candidate NotesRole bridges accounting and FP&A, not purely one or the otherStrong exposure to logistics/transportation financialsHigh emphasis on month-end close, cost tracking, and reporting accuracyIdeal for candidates early in career looking to grow in FP&A/finance operationsCandidates without a strong finance/accounting background will not be considered#INDPRO________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
