Construction Billing Specialist / Accounts Receivable SpecialistLong Island, NY (Fully Onsite)$60,000-$90,000About the RoleA well-established, industry-leading company in the commercial equipment and construction space is looking to add a Construction Billing Specialist / Accounts Receivable Specialist to its growing team.This role is heavily focused on managing the monthly requisition process across dozens of active projects, including AIA billing, collections, lien waivers, and payment tracking. It's ideal for someone who has worked in the receivables department of a busy subcontractor and understands the complexities of construction billing.What You'll Be DoingPrepare, assemble, submit, and track AIA billing packages (G702/G703)Manage monthly requisitions across a large volume of active projectsCoordinate lien waivers, stored materials documentation, certified payroll requirements, and OCIP/CCIP complianceWork within Textura, GC Pay, Procure, Procore, and similar construction billing platformsReconcile contract values, change orders, and system invoicingOwn the collections process, including payment follow-up and retainage trackingCommunicate with general contractors, project managers, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issuesMaintain accurate project billing documentation and recordsManage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced construction environmentWhat They're Looking For3+ years of construction billing, accounts receivable, or project billing experienceHands-on experience with AIA billing (G702/G703)Background working for a subcontractor or construction-related business strongly preferredStrong understanding of requisition packages, waivers, retainage, stored materials, and collectionsExperience using Textura, GC Pay, Procure, Procore, or similar systemsExcellent communication and organisational skillsComfortable working onsite, 5 days a week in Long IslandWhy Apply?Established, stable business with a strong industry reputationOwnership of the billing and collections processCollaborative, team-oriented environmentCompetitive compensation + full benefits packageContact Padraig @ HireIQ
