There is opportunity for further career growth into technical leadership or management positions and we value the curiosity, tenacity, and imagination our engineers bring to our teams each day.Position Responsibilities:Lead engineers & perform development of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) requirements, behaviors, and interfaces along with required traceabilityDevelop solutions that meet Open Mission Systems Architecture requirementsPlan and execute tasking in accordance with program rolling wave/agile development approachAdvise, Assist, & Check as Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) of assigned engineersCollaborate with customers to ensure needs, requirements, and commitments are being metPresent to both internal and external stakeholders with requisite level of detail for the audienceSupport analyses to ensure it is driving toward improving needed architecture or requirements definitionSupport cross-Boeing program mission systems interchanges for maximum leverage and re-useThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills/Experience)Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementExperience in development of Mission SystemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in technical leadership of engineersPreferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience)Experience developing requirements and applicable traceability from the weapon system down to subsystemsExperience working in MSOSA, or similar Model Based Systems Engineering toolsExperience in avionics, Open Architecture, and/or electronics systems developmentConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
