Project Coordinator

We are seeking a Project Coordinator for a 1-year W2 contract remote position working in the Eastern Standard Time Zone.*** No Corp-to-Corp; No C2C; No Referrals from C2C ***Pay Range: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support a large, strategically important, and highly visible program spanning multiple business and technical workstreams. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining delivery rhythm, ensuring cross team alignment, supporting program governance, and enabling effective communication across senior stakeholders.Project Coordinator job responsibilities include:Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and facilitation for program level governance meetings, workstream syncs, and executive reviews.Capture and publish accurate meeting minutes, decisions, risks, issues, and action items.Maintain RAID logs, dependency trackers, and delivery dashboards; partner with PMO to ensure data accuracy.Support creation of executive ready materials (slides, briefings, status reports).Track progress across multiple workstreams and follow up on overdue deliverables.Support scope management, change control, and documentation processes.Maintain SharePoint/Confluence repositories, ensuring artifacts are stored and organized.Coordinate cross functional communication: distribute updates, escalate blockers, ensure alignment.Assist program leadership with administrative, analytical, or operational tasks essential to program execution.Qualifications:Approach challenges with a positive outlook; bring positive energy to every situation3+ years coordinating IT or business transformation projects/programs.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), plus PM tools (Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent).Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to create clear, concise summaries.Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple competing priorities.Experience tracking risks, issues, and project actions.Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across levels, including senior leadership.Detail oriented with strong follow through and accountability.Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting PMO operations or high visibility enterprise programs.Familiarity with project governance models and structured delivery methodologies.Experience preparing executive level readouts.PMP, CAPM, or ITIL certification is considered a plus (but not required).Experience working on global or cross functional software implementation programs.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
