Marketing Coordinator (Content + Web)

Gradient Mortgage Capital is seeking a Marketing Coordinator (Content & Web) to support content creation, campaign execution, and day-to-day marketing operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to grow, contribute ideas, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced lending environment.In addition to developing blog, social media, and email content, this role will play a key part in managing and maintaining our WordPress website, ensuring content is published accurately, pages are updated regularly, and the site remains a strong conversion and education tool for our broker partners.Gradient Mortgage Capital is a wholesale mortgage banking platform specializing in Small Balance Commercial Real Estate (SBCRE) and Investor Residential DSCR lending. We work directly with mortgage brokers and bankers — not consumers — to originate business-purpose loans for real estate investors nationwide.What You’ll Do:Content Creation & Social MediaDraft and publish posts for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram Write and publish blog content and email marketing campaigns Assist in maintaining a consistent content calendar Support development of educational content for DSCR and SBCRE Collaborate on campaign concepts, messaging, and positioning Website Management (WordPress)Manage and maintain the Gradient WordPress website Publish and format blog posts, landing pages, and updates Ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and optimized for readability Make updates to existing pages (copy, links, images, formatting) Assist with basic SEO optimization (meta descriptions, headers, keywords) Troubleshoot minor website issues and coordinate with developers when needed Marketing ExecutionAssist with email campaign setup and deployment Help create and organize marketing collateral and sales materials Support webinar and event promotion Assist with campaign tracking and performance reporting Administrative & CoordinationMaintain marketing calendars, project timelines, and task tracking Coordinate with internal teams (sales, credit, leadership) for content inputs Organize marketing assets, documents, and templates Support overall marketing operations and workflow efficiency What We’re Looking ForBachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 1–3 years of experience in marketing, content, or digital roles Hands-on experience managing and updating websites in WordPress (required) Deep understanding of HTML and web formatting Strong writing and editing skills (this is critical) Familiarity with social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) Experience with Canva or similar design tools Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow Nice to HaveExperience in mortgage, real estate, or financial services Familiarity with SEO best practices and blog optimization Experience with email marketing platforms Exposure to Google Analytics or website performance tracking Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite Why Join GradientWork closely with senior marketing leadership and gain direct mentorship Hands-on experience across content, web, campaigns, and strategy Exposure to high-growth segments like DSCR and SBCRE lending A fast-moving, collaborative environment with room to grow DisclaimerGradient Mortgage Capital is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
