We support chip to chip, chip to board, board toboard, and flex to board applications.We are currently seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team and leadthe Ardent SI community and help drive new product development. Ardent hasexperienced explosive growth in the last 5 years and it is imperative that westay ahead of the technology requirement in interconnect. This position islocated in our Hampton Beach, NH office.RESPONSIBILITIES:Contribute to dedicated teams responsible for customer system developmentand support from concept to production.Develop integration and test strategies in support of new productintroduction.Assist with providing solutions to customers across a wide range of sectorswith their high-speed data transmission requirementsCommunicate solutions directly to customers and associated stakeholders,internally and externallyDesign and evaluate next generation production test platforms.Support the production line testing by analyzing data in a fast-pacedmanufacturing environmentWork directly with production line test technicians to oversee daily producttesting and troubleshoot failure modes when requiredSupport the internal Sales Engineers to develop strategies for productbreak-in at existing and new accounts based on signal integrity and electricalengineering expertise.Design, simulation, characterization, and application of high-speedelectrical connectors and cable-based interconnectShare knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows.Design, build, and measure circuit boards for measurement and verificationof productsApply circuit theory and high-speed digital transmission, PCB layoutprinciples for high-speed digital designQUALIFICATIONS:BS in Electrical Engineering, MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred.2-5 years of industry experience with an understanding of electro-magneticprinciples for digital signal integrityExperience in component design and application of high-speed connectors intocommunications equipment is a plusExperience with signal integrity measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA,pattern generators, error detectors and similar measurement equipment.Experience with signal integrity and simulation/analysis tools such as AnsysHFSS and Designer, CST Microwave, HSPICE, MatLab, and ADSHands-on experience with frequency-domain and time-domain component andcircuit characterization including understanding of test and calibration methodsAbility to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholdersThis position requires access to controlled technology that is subject to USexport controls.
