Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr Technical Program Manager for a hybrid position with a Major Professional Network located in Mountain View, CA. This is a 2 month contract opportunity. This position requires being onsite 3 days/week, Tues-Thurs. Pay range: $71.92 - $75.00 per hour W2 only.Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to work within their Core Infrastructure program management team. The right candidate will have demonstrated solid leadership in leading teams and programs to deliver successful outcomes. This candidate is expected to perform using best practices for execution of Infrastructure projects as well as initiating, planning, and executing intermediate-to-large scale, cross functional programs. The ideal candidate will have an excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and can execute and deliver successfully in situations where authority is not a given. The Core Infrastructure team is responsible for building, maintaining, and modernizing foundational systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency. We are looking for a Sr. TPM with Infra stack experience, specifically in the areas of streams (PubSub), storage and operational excellence.Responsibilities:Provide clarity on product/program objectives, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are well understood and address any conflict in a timely manner with minimal direction and assistance from managementInteract with program sponsors and change agents to identify scope, requirements, and manage projects throughout the entirety of the project lifecycleFacilitate and drive large cross-functional projects, serve the needs of multiple stakeholders within a complex multi-faceted organization, and manage that strategy through to completionApply formal change management practices that ensure that programs are baselined at kickoff and all changes are thoroughly reviewed for justification impact to the program and have received appropriate approvalsAnticipate program risks and issues and work to provide resolutions which ensure that stakeholder expectations are set appropriatelyEffectively communicate information to diverse audiences including translating subject matter terminology into clear business terms and program relevanceFacilitate straightforward decisions from complex situations that keep teams and projects moving forwardEstablish and manage end-to-end processes with various stakeholders in collecting, evaluating and fulfilling their requirementsDemonstrate data analysis expertise to develop and communicate meaningful insights, define metrics, and make recommendations on key infrastructure scaling initiativesApply business acumen to formulate practical and effective program management approaches to identify optimization opportunities, influence business partners, and drive effective decision makingConduct "what-if" simulations and proactively identify potential capacity issues and partner with product and service owners to minimize risk and reduce cost-to-serveLead from the front, strategize and be able to paint the big picture, yet execute with rigor and the minutiae in mind and have a data driven approach with convictive insightsManage executive project expectations including owning escalation, communication, and exec level interaction on critical strategic projects for the companyRequirements:B.S./B.A. Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience5 years of experience in Technical Program and Product Management, including feature development, roadmap management and experience in Agile Methods in Infra product/platform development teamsDesired skills:5 years of technical leadership with a track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized mannerStrong technical acumen, ability to learn new technologies quicklyDemonstrated understanding of technology-based product lifecycle management including development launch and management phases and primary roles/responsibilities and deliverables of key organizational functionsExceptional analytic skills to translate requirements and designs into successful action plansExperience leading dynamic programs and projects with cross-functional matrixed resources working in a fast paced collaborative environmentProven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders set direction and approach mobilize and motivate teams and execute with limited information and ambiguityStrong practical understanding of managing the life-cycle of large-scale programsProven problem-solving skills to anticipate the risks of non-performance and incorporate prevention and remediation measures within the implementation planProven ability to work collaboratively across different functions and optimally influence senior business partnersDemonstrated conflict resolution skills combined with strong negotiation ability delivered with a high level of influence and professionalismStrong attention to detail with excellent time management skillsProgram Product ManagementInfrastructure platform DevelopmentCross-functional collaborationOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
