Who This Role Is Not For This role is not a fit if you are looking for: A helpdesk or Tier 2/3 support role (This position does not handle end-user troubleshooting or day-to-day ticket queues.) A project-focused engineering role (You will not be executing client migrations, implementations, or bespoke solutions.) A role centered on constant client interaction or on-site work (This is an internally focused, platform ownership role.) A position where success comes from one-off fixes or heroics (The CSE role is about prevention, standards, and long-term reliability.) A loosely defined role without clear boundaries (This position has intentional scope and ownership.) If you prefer variety through tickets, frequent client-facing work, or building custom solutions per client, this role may feel restrictive.
