Your success is our success.DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Assemble, troubleshoot and repair airframes, engines and systems. Perform modification work on aircraft as required. Perform engine and propeller buildup, installation and adjustment as required.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of mechanical duties on assigned aircraft models including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly and adjustment of various systems to complete the aircraft through flight and delivery to the customer.Perform duties in a manner consistent with the highest standards of safety.Make appropriate entries in aircraft records.General supervision needed in order the complete tasks plus additional on the job training required.Needs assistance to find solutions in order to solve problems.Listens to concerns and responds appropriately based on feedback given through the learning curve.Will learn to identify the need for improvements and be open to new ideas.QualificationsEDUCATION:Requires a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.ExperienceNo experience requiredQualificationsProblem-solving skills.Positive behavior.Good soft skills.Team oriented, self-driven, safety conscious, and goal oriented.Demonstrates the desire to exceed quality and reliability expectations consistently.Daily tasks are completed without supervision.A self-starter and takes the lead on important projects to completion.Excellent problem-solving skills.Action oriented and takes on challenges.Team oriented, self-driven and safety conscious.Goal-oriented and driven to meet and/or exceed quality expectations.Will be required to follow all safety guidelines for procedures and equipment, and actively participate in daily ergonomic stretching exercises.Kansas Tax CreditJoin Textron Aviation’s Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
