Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist working with students for the 2026/2027 academic year. You'll play a key role in student success by providing essential OT services across school sites, with schedules and locations determined prior to assignment. Starting in August 2026 and concluding June 2027, you will have the chance to directly make a positive impact while working a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours weekly.Qualifications & Desired Experience:Valid and current California Certified Occupational Therapist (CCA OT) License requiredPrevious experience delivering occupational therapy in educational settings is highly preferredFamiliarity with IEP processes, documentation, and compliance standardsStrong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, staff, and familiesAbility to adapt therapeutic strategies to a diverse student populationResponsibilities:Conduct assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for studentsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student participation and success across school environmentsDeliver direct therapy and consultative services, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as neededDocument treatment sessions and outcomes according to school and state guidelinesProvide training, resources, and support to educators and family members to facilitate student independenceThis contract role offers a dynamic, supportive environment to utilize your expertise, foster growth, and form meaningful connections with students and educational teams.
