Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This full-time role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, providing dedicated service for 37.5 hours each week starting in August 2026 and concluding in June 2027. School assignments will be provided closer to the start date, offering diversity and the chance to make a significant impact in various environments.Qualifications & Desired Experience:Valid and active California OT license (CCA OT)Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferredComprehensive understanding of IEPs, special education regulations, and best practices for serving school-aged childrenSkilled in planning and implementing individualized occupational therapy servicesEffective communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and familiesResponsibilities:Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP requirementsDevelop, document, and monitor individualized treatment plans to help students achieve academic and functional goalsWork collaboratively with multidisciplinary school teams to ensure student successConduct assessments, write detailed reports, and participate actively in IEP meetingsEducate school staff and families on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs within the classroomEmbrace a contract role that allows you to make a genuine difference in students' lives while enjoying the flexibility and diversity of a dynamic school-based setting.
