Used Car TechnicianThe Used Car Technician at Gwinnett Place Ford is responsible for providing high-quality automotive service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires technical proficiency and the ability to work efficiently to meet used car department demands.Responsibilities:Perform thorough used car inspection up to and including CPO inspectionsPerform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacementsPerform basic diagnostic and repair procedures, including minor driveability, suspension, and engine repairsAbility to learn and perform basic factory recallsRepair vehicle issues accurately and promptlyEnsure vehicles are serviced and repaired to the highest standardsCommunicate effectively internally with the used car recon advisor and the used car director regarding service recommendations and vehicle updatesMaintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements:Previous experience as an automotive used car technician preferredStrong technical knowledge and proficiency in automotive repairs and maintenanceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.Benefits:Competitive compensation: Flat rate hourly up to $30.00 per hour, depending on experienceOpportunities for professional development and advancementHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysAbout the Company:Gwinnett Place Ford is a leading automotive dealership located in Duluth, Georgia.
