This position is ideal for a clinician who excels in an admissions-driven environment, enjoys managing high-acuity patients, and appreciates strong collaboration with advanced practice clinicians and specialists.About The RoleThe primary responsibilities for this role include handling nighttime admissions and supervising the night APC as neededPhysicians can expect to manage an average of ten admissions during each 12-hour shift in a very busy, fast-paced environmentYou will see patients across all acuity levels, including medically and socially complex casesCandidates should be prepared to discuss their comfort level in caring for these challenging patient populations during the interview processThe facility features a closed ICU staffed by intensivistsPerforming procedures or running codes is voluntary, with interventional radiology available for procedures if neededFamily medicine residents are able to run codes due to the onsite residency programAn excellent range of specialists is available for referrals and consultations, ensuring strong support and collaborationWe are seeking experienced hospitalists who are confident working in high-volume settings, comfortable managing higher-acuity patients, and committed to teamwork and clinical excellence.
