Overview: Network Charter School is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our school kitchen and correlating common eating areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the culinary industry and wants to gain experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand - Ensure all dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized - Assist with food preparation as needed - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and common eating surfaces, equipment, and appliances - Empty trash bins, sanitize mats, and maintain cleanliness in the culinary area - Follow all safety and sanitation procedures (A current Food Handlers Card is REQUIRED) Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Dependable worker with a consistent track record of showing up - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively This is a part-time, temporary, 10 month position (ending on June 13th). Working hours are Monday - Friday, starting at 11:30 and finishing when daily tasks are completed (generally 4-5 hours a day), with a salary expectation of. $1,146.00 a month.
