Our approach emphasizes realistic planning, practical execution, and long-term value, enabling agencies to better serve their communities.Role Description:Sciens Consulting is seeking an experienced Tyler E-ERP Finance Implementation Consultant to support the implementation and optimization of enterprise financial systems for a public-sector client. This is a contract, fully remote role.The consultant will play a key role in configuring financial modules, analyzing and improving business processes, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring successful ERP implementations from planning through go-live and post-implementation support.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support implementations of financial modules within Tyler E-ERP (formerly Munis)Analyze current-state and future-state finance business processes and recommend system-aligned solutionsConfigure financial modules, workflows, approvals, and security settings to meet client requirementsCollaborate with finance, IT, and project stakeholders to gather requirements and validate system configurationsSupport data conversion activities, including chart of accounts setup and financial data validationProvide functional guidance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution throughout the implementation lifecycleDevelop and maintain project documentation, including configuration workbooks and process documentationSupport testing activities, user training, and go-live readinessProvide post–go-live support and knowledge transfer to client teams as neededRequired Qualifications:Hands-on experience with Tyler E-ERP (formerly Munis), with a strong focus on financial modulesProven experience supporting or leading ERP financial implementationsStrong understanding of finance-related workflows such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Purchasing, or related modulesDemonstrated ability to perform business process analysis and translate requirements into system configurationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with experience working directly with client stakeholdersAbility to work independently in a remote, project-based consulting environmentBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):Experience implementing ERP systems within public-sector or government environmentsFamiliarity with GASB standards or public-sector financial reporting requirementsExperience with Tyler E-ERP upgrades, migrations, or system enhancementsPrior experience providing end-user training or post-implementation support
