Schedule Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Job Description As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. The Operating Room has a reputation for excellent clinical care, surgical education, advanced technology, and compassionate care. Responsibilities Provide safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Collaborate with surgical teams to implement care plans effectively. Assist in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties including trauma, ENT, colorectal, plastics, and more. Act as a resource for surgical patients and their families. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid Maryland or Compact RN license. BLS certification required. 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course is required. 8-hour annual trauma CEUs are required. Two years of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical or trauma setting.
