This role is responsible for expanding market share, strengthening distributor partnerships, increasing contractor and engineer adoption, and positioning Carrier as the preferred solution.This position combines strategic business development, channel leadership, and hands-on market engagement. For a leader who thrives in growth focused, relationship driven roles, this is a high visibility opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive Regional GrowthOwn Carrier thermostat revenue growth and market share performance across the assigned territoryDevelop and execute regional sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectivesAnalyze sales results, market conditions, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunitiesDrive product sales by influencing decision-making through effective training and presentations.Lead Channel PartnershipsFrequently visit channel partner locations to merchandise Carrier thermostat portfolioCreate, plan, and execute in-store trainings with distributors and trade partners to provide education and trainingDevelop and manage joint growth plans with distribution partners to expand customer reach and contractor adoptionBuild long term relationships that influence specification, quoting, and project outcomesEnable the MarketDevelop a working knowledge of Carrier HVAC equipment and thermostat capabilities and benefitsTrain distributor and contractor sales teams on Carrier thermostat offerings, applications, and programsEngage with product installers, contractors, and distributors to generate new leadsDevelop customer relationships and provide education on Carrier thermostats through attending trade shows, seminars, and workshops. Attend external events to educate potential customers and partners about Carrier thermostat products and solutionsProvide support for complex sales discussions and project opportunitiesDrive customer satisfaction by helping resolve sales, service, and product related issues efficientlySupport Strategic SellingLead bid opportunities and contribute to proposal development and negotiationsGather competitive pricing and product intelligence to support effective positioningIdentify product gaps and collaborate with Product Management to recommend improvementsCollaborate and InfluenceWork effectively in a matrixed, cross functional environment to align strategy and executionContribute thermostat expertise across sales, marketing, and channel management teamsSupport product campaign management through Social Media engagement and by attending offsite events as requiredOperate independently with minimal direction while consistently delivering resultsWhat Success Looks LikeSustained revenue growth and increased regional market share for the Carrier thermostat portfolioStrong distributor engagement and execution of joint growth plansIncreased contractor adoption and successful competitive conversionsHigh credibility as a subject matter expert across the regionRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED5+ Years of Sales and/or Operations Management Experience2+ Years of HVAC industry sales experience2+ Years selling to or working directly with distributorsValid driver’s licenseAbility to travel up to 80% within the assigned territoryPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related fieldMaster’s degreeExperience in HVAC, HVAC accessories sales, construction, or industrial environmentsWorking knowledge of SAP and/or SalesforceUnderstanding of HVAC market dynamics, competitors, and industry trendsProven ability to manage a multistate territoryStrong presentation, communication, and relationship building skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually.
