Overview
In this contract role you drive end-to-end software development, spanning front-end and back-end layers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust applications in a fast-paced environment. You tackle complex problems, design scalable solutions, and ensure code quality through automated testing and DevOps practices. Your work supports large-scale, enterprise-grade systems and evolving technologies. You will influence technical decisions and contribute to continuous improvement and delivery pipelines.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain client-side and server-side components using modern tech stackDesign, implement and consume RESTful services and microservices architecturesParticipate in API design and development, including GraphQL where applicableContribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for application deploymentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from analysis to testingAdopt formal development methods (Agile or structured) and communicate lifecycle activitiesTroubleshoot issues, resolve ambiguities, and design end-to-end solutionsEngage and influence stakeholders across organization to achieve objectives
Key requirements7+ years of client-side development experience (Angular, jQuery, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, HTML/CSS, RxJS)4+ years server-side development with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Camel, JMS, Kafka, JPA/HibernateExperience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation)Strong CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Artifactory, DevOps deployments)API Design & Development and Microservices Architecture (Java, REST, GraphQL, NodeJS, Swagger)Familiarity with E2E ALM tools (JIRA, Git, FishEye, Crucible, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy)Code quality/coverage tools (Sonar or equivalent)Team collaboration and Agile software development experienceKnowledge of OO design, RESTful services, design patterns, security, and testingAbility to navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environmentstrong communicationproblem-solvingcollaborativeAngularJavaSpring
