Position OverviewEmser Tile is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Human Resources to provide enterprise-wide leadership of the Human Resources function. Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for the design, execution, and governance of HR strategy in alignment with the company’s business and people objectives. This role requires a strong business leader as well as a seasoned HR executive.The VP of HR will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring the organization is positioned to attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent while maintaining operational excellence and regulatory compliance.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelops human resources strategies designed to meet employee needs while aligning with the organization's goals and mission.Advise executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, change management initiatives, and succession planningProvide oversight of talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement strategiesDirect employee relations practices, ensuring consistency, fairness, and adherence to company policies and legal requirementsEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong emphasis on risk management and mitigationOversee the design and administration of compensation, benefits, and performance management programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market standardsLead culture initiatives to support a high-performing and inclusive workforceDrive continuous improvement of HR systems, policies, and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data integrityDevelop and manage HR metrics and analytics to inform strategic decision-makingProvide leadership, direction, and development to the Human Resources team, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellenceQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline requiredAdvanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferredJuris Doctor (JD) strongly preferredMinimum of 15 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including at least 10 years of executive-level responsibilityExtensive knowledge of employment law, regulatory compliance, and best human capital management practicesDemonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and contribute to strategic business outcomesStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilitiesExperience within manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry preferredAbout Emser TileEmser Tile is a leading designer, marketer, and producer of premium tile and natural stone products.
