Night Shift Supervisor

The Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all fabrication operations during overnight hours to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. This involves providing leadership to a team of welders, machine operators, and laborers, while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards and job specifications. Key Responsibilities Manage production schedules and assign workloads. Lead on-site safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA standards. Interpret blueprints and technical schematics for the team. Monitor equipment and oversee preventative maintenance. Handle personnel tasks such as training, evaluations, and managing timecards. Communicate detailed shift reports to daytime staff for smooth transitions. Required Experience & Skills 3–5 years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing. 2+ years in a supervisory role, preferably in a high-volume setting. Technical experience with relevant machinery like CNC, welding equipment (MIG/TIG), brake presses, lasers, or saws. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. OSHA 10 and welding certifications are often preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand or walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
