The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing compelling editorial content, managing social media, assisting with publication design, capturing event photography, and helping shape the voice and visual identity of our brands.This is a full-time, in-person position based in Franklin, Tennessee. Candidates must reside in or possess strong working knowledge of Williamson and Davidson Counties and be available for occasional evening and weekend assignments, including event coverage.Position SummaryThe Creative Content Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the editorial, digital, creative, and marketing functions of our publications and media platforms. Working closely with the Publisher, Creative Director, contributors, and community partners, this individual will help create engaging content that informs, inspires, and connects our readers both in print and online.The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, deadline-driven, and passionate about local storytelling and community engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesEditorial & Content DevelopmentAssist in the editorial development and production process from concept through publication.Research, write, edit, and proofread original content for print and digital platforms.Maintain exceptional editorial standards, accuracy, and attention to detail.Coordinate with freelance writers, photographers, contributors, and community partners.Upload, update, and maintain website content across company digital platforms.Assist with editorial planning, content calendars, and special publication projects.Social Media & Digital MarketingDevelop, create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms.Monitor engagement, audience growth, analytics, and emerging digital trends.Assist in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns.Create and manage email marketing campaigns and newsletters.Utilize SEO best practices to optimize digital content performance.Support paid advertising initiatives, including Google Ads and social media advertising.Graphic Design & Creative ProductionAssist the Creative Director with magazine production and layout using Adobe InDesign (required).Design print advertisements, promotional materials, and digital marketing assets.Create graphics, social media content, and branded collateral.Assist with multimedia content creation, including short-form video and digital storytelling.Maintain brand consistency across all print and digital platforms.Photography & Visual ContentCapture professional photography for editorial features, advertising campaigns, events, social media, and marketing initiatives.Edit and organize digital photography assets.Assist with visual storytelling and content creation for both print and digital use.Community Engagement & Brand RepresentationAttend community events, business functions, and local happenings to gather content and photography.Build positive relationships with community leaders, businesses, nonprofits, and readers.Represent YOUR Williamson and affiliated brands professionally both online and in person.Serve as a visible and enthusiastic ambassador for the company within the community.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.Proven experience in editorial content creation, publishing, journalism, digital media, marketing, or a related field.Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign (required and non-negotiable).Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.Experience managing social media platforms for a brand or publication.Working knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Ads.Experience creating visual and multimedia content, including photography and basic video editing.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.Must reside locally within or near Williamson and Davidson Counties.Must possess reliable transportation, a personal laptop, and a smartphone.Editorial Integrity RequirementApplicants must demonstrate strong writing and editorial skills.
