Company: The Davey Tree Expert CompanyLocations: Denver, COAdditional Locations: NoneWork Site: On SiteReq ID: 223030Position OverviewThe RC Plant Health Care Coordinator is responsible for the development of plant health care technicians and overseeing overall plant health care department function within a specific territory. This position mentors, teaches, trains, and engages new and existing plant health care technicians within the territory to further develop their skills in safe work practices, insect and disease management, and career advancement. Works under general supervision.Rate of pay: $60,000-$70,000/Annually Based on expierience and licensingJob DutiesDuties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions*):Conduct production-based field training of employeesCollaborate with regional technical advisorsMentor and engage new employeesSchedule and route the plant health care teamMonitor and ensure compliance with state pesticide regulations and maintain accurate trainingdocumentation for applicators.Participate and/or plan training programs and workshops. Additional Duties and Responsibilities at Specific Territory Levels: Participate in weekly sales meetings. Ensure the territory’s Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance which includesmaintenance of records, timely scheduling of annual vehicle inspections, and ensuringcompliance with Motor Carrier Safety (MCS) requirements. Utilize Beacon Insight Management software Participate and assist with office plant health care renewal process. Order approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), small equipment, and plant health careproducts for the plant health care team.*Conduct accurate monthly inventories of plant health care products and submit by email topurchasing before due date.*Assist the plant health care team with production when necessary.*Perform other related duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation and Experience:Required: Must be at least 21 years of age to operate equipment as a driver. Required: Valid Driver’s License. Class B CDL valuable, but not required. Required: Minimum two years of experience as a plant health care arborist. Preference givento those with one or more years of experience with the Davey Tree Expert Company.Required: Successful completion in the Davey Tree Qualified Plant Health Care Techniciantraining program as a plant health care technician or the ability to obtain qualification within 90days of hire.Perferred: Colorado Qualified Applicator Supervisor license, or abilitilty to aquire in 90 daysPreferred: Industry certifications such as ISA Certified Arborist.
