This role is focused on acquiring new small business customers, helping them identify the right technological solutions, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. Once the account is established, it will be transitioned to our Customer Success team for long-term relationship management.If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love building new relationships, and have a passion for helping small businesses grow, we'd love to meet you.What you will do:Prospect & Qualify Identify and engage small business leads through outbound efforts, networking, and digital channels.Consult & Sell Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals that deliver value.Onboard & Transition Guide new clients through onboarding and hand off to the Customer Success team for ongoing support.Collaborate Across Teams Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction.Track & Report Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, conversion metrics, and handoff timelines.Success Metrics:Number of new small business accounts acquiredLead-to-customer conversion rateTime-to-close and onboarding efficiencyQuality of handoff and client satisfaction scoresWhat we expect of you:2+ years in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the small business segmentProven success in new customer acquisitionStrong communication and negotiation skillsFamiliarity with small business operations and challengesExperience with CRM tools and sales automation platformsAbility to work cross-functionally with onboarding and success teams in addition to external OEM partnersIdeal Candidate Traits:Entrepreneurial mindset and empathy for small business ownersAbility to simplify complex solutions for non-technical audiencesHigh energy, self-motivated, and results-drivenComfortable working independently and managing multiple prioritiesOpen to and enthusiastic about leveraging innovative sales techniques-including AI-to enhance sales capabilities and drive performanceWe make technology work so people can do great things.CDW is a leading multi-brand provider of information technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
