This role provides hands-on leadership while overseeing installations, preventative maintenance programs, and compliance standards. You’ll play a critical role in guest safety, operational uptime, and asset longevity.What You’ll Be DoingOversee all maintenance and grounds operations across the Wibit water attraction, lagoon, dry attractions, buildings, utilities, parking areas, walkways, and common spacesDevelop and execute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime, extend asset life, and ensure operational readinessEnsure all attractions, mechanical systems, water systems, equipment, and facilities are inspected, tested, and maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulationsLead, train, schedule, and develop maintenance and grounds team members while fostering a strong safety-first culture aligned with SKYLAKE valuesManage landscaping, irrigation, seasonal grounds upkeep, and overall property appearance to maintain a clean, welcoming environmentCoordinate and/or perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, structural systems, and general maintenanceMaintain compliance with local codes, safety regulations, health standards, and internal policies; ensure proper documentation of inspections, logs, certifications, and incident reportsOversee inventory of tools, parts, and supplies while managing vendor and contractor relationshipsUtilize maintenance tracking systems to manage work orders, preventive schedules, and repair timelinesRespond promptly to maintenance emergencies and support seasonal attraction setup and breakdown, including Wibit operationsWhat Makes You a Fit5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in attractions, water parks, hospitality, recreation, or similar environmentsStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and water systemsExperience managing preventative maintenance programsUnderstanding of safety regulations and compliance requirementsAbility to read technical manuals and schematicsProven ability to lead and develop teamsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in an outdoor, fast-paced environmentAbility to respond to after-hours or emergency situations as neededWhy You’ll Love Working HereLead at a one-of-a-kind, year-round adventure destination where innovation and fun go hand in handShape the guest experience and team culture from the ground upCompetitive salary with a comprehensive benefits packageMedical, dental, and vision insurance options to support your well-beingRetirement savings plan to help you plan for the futurePaid vacation and company-recognized holidays to rest, recharge, and enjoy life outside the parkOpportunities for professional growth as SKYLAKE expandsAn energetic, outdoor work environment that never feels like a desk-only jobThe chance to make a real impact—on guests, teams, and the future of SKYLAKEThis position is classified as exempt in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.
