Accountant

Job Description Our client, currently located in South San Francisco, is looking for a Senior Accountant. The company is solid, established and has a proven track record. It is a privately owned multi-generational company that has been in business for over 75 years.Responsibilities:Take on many responsibilities for basic accounting functionsResponsible for back-up of the bi-weekly payroll processingProvide support to the current Accounting staffImplement and document all processes, policies, procedures and internal controlsAssume responsibility for the month-end close procedures including preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliation and analysis of resultsMaintain and reconcile various Balance Sheet Accounts as requiredMaintain various excel sheets for analysis of operationsPerform other special projects and analyses as directed by management.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred2 to 4 years progressive accounting experienceKnowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles.Knowledge of Intact SoftwareCompany DescriptionSiino & Associates is a leading provider of search and staffing services for accounting and finance professionals.
