Job: Public Health Educator 2Job ID: 62250Location: 710 James Robertson Parkway 6th Floor Andrew Johnson Tower Nashville, Tennessee 37243Client: State of TNConsultant Pay rate: $40 /hr on w2 (All Inclusive)Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Community Health, or related field.Strong understanding of public health principles, theories, and evidence-based practices.Experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation within a public health or community setting.Excellent communication and public speaking skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex health information to diverse audiences.Ability to collaborate and work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and community partners.Knowledge of health behavior theories and behavior change strategies.Experience with community engagement, outreach, and partnership development.Commitment to health equity and cultural competence.Preferred Qualifications:Certification as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).Experience working with underserved populations and addressing health disparities.Bilingual proficiency in languages commonly spoken within various communities (e.g. Spanish, Arabic, Kurdish)Intermediate proficiency in Research Electronic Database Capture (REDCap) with experience in survey creation, sending surveys/communication through alerts, and creating and utilizing report functionality.
