Crew Member/Shift Lead

Job Description We are starting to hire for full/part time employees including shift leads. All shifts are available at this time. Cafe hours will be mon-Fri 7am-9pm, Saturday 8am-9pm, and Sunday 10am-8pm. Pay will depend on experience, raises will be given based on performance, and employees also receive tips. We hire ages 14 and up. We don't have any fryers and these positions have potential for career advancement as well. If you are Smart, have Integrity, Drive,and Enthusiasm, you would be a great Tropical Smoothie Café Crew Member.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Interacts with crew members and customers using 'Tropitude' (Tropitude is our "mojo" and what makesTropical Smoothie Café fun and different. It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere.)-Delivers 'Unparalleled Hospitality' to each customer that visits our café.- Prepares ingredients for our food and smoothies.-Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafes' standards.-Uses our sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.-Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations.-Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe.-Follows the steps to operate the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash, andbeing responsible for the drawer.-Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand.-Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE-Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS-Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.-Bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice, or taking outtrash.-Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.-Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.-Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.WORKING CONDITIONS-Most shifts are between four and eight hours, but this may vary.-Crew Members can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend, and/or holidayhours.-Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform and personal hygiene polices for each shift.-Fun, fast paced, upbeat environment with no fryers!#hc226680
