Senior Accountant | Oil & Gas Midstream | Hybrid Schedule Position Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This position will play a critical role in managing cash flow, general accounting, settlements, reconciliations, and financial reporting across both organizations, Buckhead Midstream and LEI. As the companies continue to grow, this role will help drive process improvements, support ERP transition initiatives, and assist with integrating operational data. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Accountant will work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Traders, and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and timely execution of accounting processes. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:​​​Cash Flow ManagementReconcile monthly cash transactions for both Buckhead Midstream and L Energy International (LEI)Ensure accuracy of settlements transactions between company systems and banking activitySet up bank accounts, reconcile accounts, verify deposits, and manage payment confirmationsRespond to bank inquiries and support treasury-related processesCoordinate with Operations regarding settlements activity and follow up on discrepanciesSet up and document distribution payments as neededReview credit card statements and facilitate paymentsGeneral AccountingPrepare and post monthly journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and general ledger transactionsRecord actualization of inventory invoicesManage and oversee the settlements recording processIntegrate operational data from Aspect software into QuickBooks beginning July 2026Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliationsRecord and reconcile intercompany transactions between BHM and LEIMaintain and administer QuickBooks Online chart of accounts for both entitiesMaintain schedules for accrued liabilities and prepaid expenses in accordance with GAAPSupport ad hoc accounting projects and process improvement initiativesAudit & CompliancePartner with third-party auditors to provide requested documentation and reportingEnsure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial regulationsMaintain accurate and organized documentation to support audits and compliance requirementsReporting & AnalysisGenerate financial reports and analysis for leadership reviewAssist with inventory reporting and analysisSupport ad hoc reporting requests and business initiativesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required3–5 years of accounting experience requiredFull cycle accounting experience requiredOil & gas (midstream) industry experience requiredStrong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reportingProficiency in QuickBooks Online, including multi-entity chart of accountsAdvanced Excel skills required, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUPStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to adapt to evolving technology and process improvementsExperience working in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Us:Competitive compensation and performance-based bonus Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to work in a dynamic, growth-oriented energy trading environment Collaborative and high-performing team culture
