Building Science Project Engineer - Experienced

Job Description: Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systemsProvide recommendations for immediate repairsUse observations and industry standards to determine future building system replacementsConduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation and organization, and project research (historical, regulatory, etc.)Author technical reports and prepare quality supporting documents (maps, appendices, etc.)Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestonesCommunicate project progress and any issues to the Project Manager and clientProvide solid recommendations and solutions while understanding potential impacts on the transactionRequirements: A Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.)3+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating2+ years of experience performing property inspectionsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)Valid driver's license and provide own transportation to project sitesExcellent writing and verbal communication skillsAbility to work on projects concurrently with a proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on timeFamiliar with the basic principles of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, including construction and maintenance of structures and systemsUnderstand concepts of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, replacement costsBenefits: Competitive benefits package including health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceVacation and sick time401(k) plan with company match
