DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY: Experienced and motivated administrative professional with experience supporting multiple technical programs. The candidate will provide various administrative functions supporting the client organization, programs and procedures. This position will involve frequent and direct interaction with managers, scientists, engineers and internal/external support personnel. The candidate will provide routine as well as highly responsive support for emergent or priority requirements.LOCATION: Bethesda, MarylandResponsibilities:Technical editing to review, format, and route technical documents, research reports, and external correspondence for approval and/or publication.Publish and distribute technical reports and products to sponsors and online technical librariesPrepare and serialize routine non-technical correspondence and memos in compliance with navy guidelinesProcess documents for public release approvalProcess outgoing visit requests for division personnelReview travel requests in the Defense Travel System (DTS) for compliance with travel regulationsAssist with other tracking, data calls, project status and quick turnaround requests.Assist managers with seating plans, org charts, facilities requests and office needsMaintain Division records & file plan according to NAVSEA requirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum of 2+ years of experienceRequirements:The candidate must have strong organizational/multi-tasking skills and the ability to effectively use applicable tools and techniques to communicate with various audiences.The candidate must demonstrate the ability to identify objectives based on division priorities and independently plan and carry out assignments.Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate a strong, professional and motivational attitude.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with government clients, colleagues, other supporting contractors, vendors and other organizations as required.Strong writing and technical editing skills to support official correspondence, memos, deliverables and research reportsAbility to work simultaneously on multiple, complex projects with short deadlines and quick, short turn-around tasks while still producing high quality work.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment that includes colleagues, other support contractors and Government personnel.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $65,000 per yearIn determining compensation, various factors will be considered, including but not limited to, educational background; relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, market factors; and geographic location.EOE StatementWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
