Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary:Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team in Sweetwater, Texas. This role is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely processing of invoices in accordance with company policies.Key Responsibilities:Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports for accuracy and proper authorizationMatch invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentsPrepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfersMaintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable recordsReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesReconcile company credit card statements, ensuring proper documentation and coding of expensesRespond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely mannerAssist with month-end closing procedures and reportingEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least (2) two years of experience in accounts payable preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsMust be reliable and extremely trustworthy.Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.Compensation / BenefitsSalary is dependent upon experienceHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and developmentAbout Ludlum Measurements, Inc.:Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is a trusted manufacturer of radiation detection and measurement equipment, serving customers worldwide with a commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service.
