Regional Sales Manager - Government Solutions

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the government sector. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales, fostering third-party alliances, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. You will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to maximize opportunities across the full range of Oracle products and services. Key responsibilities include managing and developing a team of sales representatives, which involves recruiting, hiring, and training new team members on the Oracle sales process. You will actively promote Oracle products to clients, negotiate pricing, and dictate terms of sale. Being part of the strategic and tactical planning for the division, you will build strong relationships with license, consulting, and education field managers to create effective joint account plans. You will also create and execute an effective territory plan aimed at maximizing revenue, generate and meet monthly revenue forecasts, and conduct weekly progress meetings with your sales team to ensure alignment and drive performance. Additionally, you will manage escalation processes and ensure that all operational planning meets Oracle's corporate standards. QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of sales or sales management experience within the technology sector. You should have strong leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to resolve customer satisfaction issues. The ability to negotiate terms, concessions, and pricing is crucial, alongside strong analytical, quantitative, and conflict resolution skills. Compensation and BenefitsUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $121,000 to $232,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.
