Industrial Data Engineer

A growing engineering and operations organization in the renewable energy space is seeking an Industrial Data Engineer to connect operational systems with enterprise analytics. This role focuses on building reliable data pipelines, models, and reporting tools that turn plant and business data into actionable insights.What You'll DoBuild and maintain data pipelines integrating SCADA systems with databases and analytics toolsDevelop dashboards and automated reports for operations, internal teams, and external stakeholdersCreate clean, well-defined data models to support KPIs and performance trackingImprove data quality, performance, and reliability across systemsDevelop scripts and lightweight applications to support operations and reporting workflowsPartner with engineering, operations, and business teams to translate needs into usable data solutionsSupport deployments, documentation, and ongoing system improvementsWhat You Bring3+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similarStrong SQL and experience with relational databasesExperience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar toolsHands-on experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflowsWorking knowledge of Python or similar languagesExposure to industrial systems, SCADA, or time-series / IoT data is a strong plusComfortable working end-to-end from data ingestion to user-facing reportingNice to HaveExperience in energy, utilities, or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with cloud data platforms or modern data toolingExperience with telemetry data, APIs, or industrial protocols
