LPN or RN - PRN at Gardenside LTC

Jefferson Community Health & Life is looking to hire an RN or LPN in Gardenside, Long Term Care on a PRN basis.Provides, oversees and coordinates nursing care in cooperation with other care providers to meet the needs of residents. Contributes to the completion of the comprehensive assessment and care plan for each resident and provides cares in accordance with the individualized plan of care. Provides leadership for the nursing team by directing, overseeing and coordinating resident cares provided by CNA's and MA's, to include medication administration by MA's.Hours: PRNShift Differentials:Evening/night differential: 2pm - 6am any day =$2.00 more per hourWeekend differential: $4.00 more per hourShort Notice Bonus 40% more wages when called in with less than 24 hours notice.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlans and documents resident assessment and careUtilizes the nursing process to plan, intervene and evaluate resident care.Assesses residents by collecting medical history and current health status dataProvides teaching pertinent to resident needs.Maintains resident privacy.QUALIFICATIONS:Current Nebraska RN or LPN licenseComputer experienceFlexible, able to handle multi taskingTeam playerMust be able to lift and reposition residents according to the physical requirements in the full job description.Jefferson Community Health & Life is a Vet/Disabled/Equal Opportunity Employer
