About Youth Pathways InitiativeYouth Pathways Initiative (YPI) is a school-facing education venture that partners with high schools to deliver practical financial literacy programming. Rather than functioning as a curriculum vendor, YPI serves as an implementation partner—combining structured programming, near-peer facilitation, and school-facing operational support to help institutions deliver high-quality financial literacy experiences without increasing administrative burden.Financial literacy education is gaining momentum nationally, yet implementation remains a persistent challenge. YPI exists to close that gap. We are currently in our validation stage and building a disciplined founding team to support responsible growth and long-term execution.About the RoleYPI is seeking a Founding Head of Marketing & Growth to lead early growth execution, strengthen external positioning, and build the systems that support disciplined outreach and partnership development.This is a hands-on founding team role. You will work directly with YPI's founder and executive team across outreach, pipeline management, brand, digital presence, and market-facing communications. The ideal candidate is a strong operator with sound written judgment, organizational discipline, and a demonstrated ability to execute with minimal oversight.Location: Greater Boston preferred (Hybrid). Remote considered for exceptional candidates.Commitment: Part-time, approximately 10-15 hours per week, with occasional variability based on business needs.ResponsibilitiesGrowth & Outreach ExecutionExecute outbound outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and relevant channelsPersonalize outreach communications based on institutional fit, audience, and partnership contextManage structured follow-up cadences to maintain consistent engagementIdentify qualified opportunities and surface them to leadershipSupport outreach strategy refinement based on response trends and market feedbackPipeline Management & Growth OperationsMaintain outreach tracking systems and partnership pipeline recordsLog communications, follow-up timelines, responses, and engagement outcomesMonitor lead progression across defined pipeline stagesProduce clear weekly updates on outreach activity, response trends, and pipeline movementBrand, Messaging & Marketing ExecutionDraft and refine outreach messaging, email templates, and external communicationsSupport updates to one-pagers, presentations, and marketing collateralMaintain consistency across YPI's public-facing messagingEnsure written communications reflect standards appropriate for educators, administrators, and institutional partnersDigital Presence & ContentManage YPI's LinkedIn presence and other relevant digital platformsDevelop and maintain a consistent, professional content cadenceMonitor engagement patterns and refine execution over timeRequired QualificationsCurrent sophomore, junior, or senior; recent graduate; or early-career professionalStrong written and verbal communication skills with high editorial judgmentDemonstrated organizational discipline and follow-throughAbility to manage outreach workflows, communication systems, and structured follow-up independentlyFamiliarity with LinkedIn, email-based outreach, and standard digital communication toolsAvailability to commit approximately 10–15 hours per weekAbility to represent an emerging organization externally with professionalismPreferred QualificationsExperience in marketing, growth, communications, or brand executionBackground in sales, business development, outreach, or partnership-buildingExperience in startup, early-stage, or entrepreneurial environmentsLeadership in student organizations, consulting, or structured project-based rolesFamiliarity with tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, Excel, ClickUp, or CRM platformsInterest in education innovation, youth development, or financial literacyCompensationThis is currently an unpaid founding team role. We are transparent about that upfront. Stipend potential exists as YPI grows and formalizes compensation structures.
