Baker & Bakery Assistant

Caterer hiring for a heavily attended one-day event in mid-September (date is contiengent on weather). The event will be outdoors. Please note that all parties hired must be safeserve certified. Submit certification with application. Respond to this post by 9 am on August 2nd We are looking for a Baker & Bakery Assistant who can supply us with Rum Cake & Bread Pudding for a one-day event. This is a large job so rates can be determined after initial interview. Responsibilities: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Prepare and baked cakes Decorate baked goods with icing and other toppings as needed. Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. Follow food safety guidelines when handling ingredients and finished products. Assist in the packaging of finished products. Maintain a positive attitude towards customers.
