Lunchroom WorkerQualifications:High School Diploma or EquivalentVDRL test yearlyTB Skin test every other yearDemonstrated skills and performance in the area of food serviceSuch alternatives to the above qualifications as the local Board may find appropriate and acceptableReports To:Lunchroom Manager or Child Nutrition Program DirectorJob Goal:To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness.Performance Responsibilities:Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter.Serves students and staff from the cafeteria counter until all students/staff have been served.Removes used dishes and assists in the cleaning of counters, tables, and furnishings in the dining and kitchen area.Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion.Can be assigned any duties throughout the course of a day's work that relates to lunchroom duties; cooking, dishroom, stock, assisting with inventory, cleaning of floors, assisting with paper work, removal of trash.Attends all required staff training.Adheres to any and all other Child Nutrition Program guidelines.Terms of Employment:Salary and work year to be established by the Board.Evaluation:Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
