Principal Scientist I – Analytical DevelopmentLocation: Charles City, IAWork Type: Onsite (Relocation Accepted)We are looking for an experienced Analytical Development Scientist to lead method development, validation, and transfer for APIs and related materials in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.Key Skills & What They’re Looking For:Strong expertise in analytical method development, validation, and transferHands-on experience with instruments: HPLC, GC, GC/MS, FTIR, Titration, Particle Size AnalyzerDeep understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance (DEA, QC standards)Ability to analyze, interpret, and troubleshoot complex analytical dataExperience supporting API / pharmaceutical development and manufacturingProven ability to transfer methods/processes to commercial scaleStrong technical documentation & report writing skillsCollaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams (QC, Process, Development)Basic Qualifications:PhD (6+ yrs) OR MS (10+ yrs) OR BS (14+ yrs) in Chemistry or related fieldPrior experience in pharmaceutical analytical labs preferred
