Senior MEP Coordinator – Mission Critical / Data Center Projects📍 Multiple Locations Across TexasWe are currently partnering with several leading General Contractors that are actively seeking Senior MEP Coordinators and MEP Coordinator to support complex commercial and mission critical/data center projects across Texas.These firms are delivering large-scale technical facilities and high-performance buildings, and are expanding their teams to support a strong pipeline of projects.This role is ideal for an experienced MEP professional who can lead coordination, commissioning, and installation of complex building systems from preconstruction through project turnover.Key Responsibilities• Lead day-to-day coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and fire sprinkler systems • Manage coordination between owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners • Oversee planning and installation of HVAC, controls, plumbing, process piping, and fire protection systems • Support balancing, commissioning, validation, and system turnover documentation • Assist in development and execution of MEP commissioning and integrated testing plans • Coordinate factory start-up, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and major equipment installation • Manage and mentor MEP coordinators and engineering staff assigned to the project • Support preconstruction efforts, subcontractor scoping, and procurement • Work closely with project executives, superintendents, and regional leadership teams • Help manage field coordination with mechanical and electrical trades as neededQualifications• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with strong MEP coordination background • Mission critical or data center experience is a strong plus • Strong understanding of:HVAC and mechanical systemsElectrical distribution systemsDirect Digital Controls (DDC)Test & Balance proceduresFire/life safety and fire protection systems • Experience managing complex coordination meetings and multi-trade teams • Strong communication and leadership skills • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and construction scheduling tools • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred but not requiredOpportunity Highlights• Competitive compensation and benefits • Opportunities with top-tier builders in Texas • Strong pipeline of data center and mission critical projects • Long-term career growth in one of the fastest growing construction sectorsIf you are an experienced MEP Coordinator or Senior MEP professional interested in confidential opportunities with leading builders, please reach out directly to learn more.
