Private Equity Analyst – Power / Energy InfrastructureLocation: CaliforniaOverviewA growing private equity fund focused on power and energy infrastructure investments is seeking an Analyst (1–3 years’ experience) to join its investment team. The role will support transaction execution and portfolio management across power generation assets, including thermal and conventional energy.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport evaluation and execution of investments in power generation assetsBuild and maintain detailed financial models (LBO, DCF, project finance)Conduct industry and market research across the power and utilities sectorAssist with due diligence, including coordination with advisors and stakeholdersPrepare investment memos and presentation materials for internal committeesMonitor portfolio company performance and support asset management initiativesCandidate Profile1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate financeExposure to power, energy, or infrastructure sectors preferredStrong financial modeling and valuation skillsHigh attention to detail and analytical rigorBachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related fieldRequirementsExperience in power, thermal power, or power generation strongly preferredStrong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCompensationCompetitive base salary + bonus
