Key ResponsibilitiesTradingDevelop paper trading strategiesManage the book autonomously (within risk limits); ensuring the trading positions and strategies remain within the agreed risk and credit parameters, and identifying potential factors that may cause these parameters to be breachedGenerate positive P/L, and have a consistent proven track record of trade objective achievementsLiaise with head office to identify trading opportunities, monitor current market conditions, and inform them of new opportunitiesDaily preparation of trading P&L and risk reporting for trading desk, dealdesk and senior managementKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMinimum 8 years' trading experience in the relevant commoditiesA full and detailed understanding of the fundamental drivers of energy marketsExperienced in developing and implementing of trading strategiesEntrepreneurial spirit, self-disciplined, able to take stressAbility to effectively prioritize tasks, especially those of high importanceStrong problem solving skills and decision-making abilitiesExcellent team player and work well with othersStrong with numbersExceptional leadership skills, with the capability to build, inspire and lead a high-performing team to work in sync with our company's objectivesJ-18808-Ljbffr
