This position also has the ability to identify and separate business needs and objectives from technical needs and specifications.This individual works autonomously with college administrators, faculty, and staff to gather requirements, analyze data, and provide business intelligence solutions for decision makers including creating databases, database queries, analytical solutions and reports. Performs various complex application configurations, code and workflow changes, and data processing tasks to support existing solutions for academic program and business office requirements or create solutions if they do not exist.This is a security sensitive position with access to and responsibility for effectively protecting FERPA and other sensitive or confidential data sets. Please visit the UGA Background Check website.Duties/Responsibilities:Independently gather client requirements, perform business process analysis and then design and implement solutions using a variety of toolsMS SQL Server Reporting, Analysis & Integration Services and various reporting, analytics and data integration solutions.Microsoft SharePoint lnfoPath or Google forms and workflow solutions portal for requested client solutions.Salesforce CRM for recruiting, events, tracking, surveys, registration, outreach and other requested processes for Terry College and its associated programs.Develop and code functions not currently available from baseline software. This will include complex coding, workflow creations, and API integrations as required.Build reports for clients upon request to provide detailed information on their events or other programs.Build and maintain documentation on newly created code.Review any email deliverables or front facing public solutions to ensure data integrity and adhere to UGA or Terry College guidelines.If the application or software is no longer supported or supports the client needs, review and formalize other software or applications for replacement.Ensure security and data protection is maintained and being followed.Ensure all software, databases, and applications meet the requirements of requested solutions.Percentage Of Time:50Duties/Responsibilities:Provide user support and problem resolutions for applicationsBuild complex reports for clients to provide detailed information and train clients in use of these reports and create dashboards when appropriate.Create documentation for non-technical clients.Identify common usage questions and create training materials to meet the needs of both end users and support staff.Provide or identify resources for appropriate end-user training on the use of supported applications.Percentage Of Time:25Duties/Responsibilities:Continuous service improvementTrain team on newly created code and flow process.Stay on latest trends of applications and software team uses.Train new team members.Review documentation to ensure data accuracy and update as needed.Review applications, software, and bolt-on components to ensure they are meeting the needs of the clients.
