MEMS Process Engineer

Our client is a full-service microfabrication solutions provider located in Silicon Valley, delivering advanced capabilities for semiconductor and MEMS (sensor and actuator) development and manufacturing. The team supports end-to-end efforts including device design, process engineering, production, and fab/tool development.They are looking to add a Process Engineer to their fabrication group, focused on developing efficient, scalable solutions for both commercial and research-oriented semiconductor/MEMS applications.RESPONISBILITIES: Take a lead role in the development, design, fabrication, and evaluation of MEMS-based devicesPlan and execute experiments related to fabrication processes, materials analysis, and performance validationDocument process flows, experimental data, and development progress in a structured mannerEnsure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards across all activitiesDrive process development efforts, including creating and refining fabrication recipes and standard proceduresSupport production activities and contribute to yield improvement and defect reduction initiativesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:B.S or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related disciplineMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in MEMS and/or semiconductor processing environmentsPractical experience with MEMS fabrication and testing in controlled lab or production settingsStrong background in mask layout design using tools such as KLayout, L-Edit, or similarFamiliarity with core microfabrication techniques including deposition, etching (wet/dry), lithography, and wafer bondingBONUS QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with surface preparation and materials characterization methodsWorking knowledge of SPC methodologies and DOE frameworksPrior experience leading or mentoring small engineering teamsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a dynamic environmentPERKS AND INCENTIVES:To $130K+ BaseMedical/Dental InsuranceUnlimited Paid Time OffAll U.S. Major Holidays PaidM-F Day ScheduleFor a list of all Gyga Force openings, please visit www.gygaforce.com.
