Manufacturing Engineer 2

Key Responsibilities* Support development, production, and delivery of aerostructure components & assemblies.* Create/maintain engineering masters & work orders in ERP (SAP).* Interface with internal & external design engineering.* Provide shop-floor support (drawing interpretation, technical issues).* Develop inspection checklists, FAI, planning docs, supplier bid packages, cost estimates.* Drive process improvements & lean initiatives to prevent bottlenecks.Qualifications* Education: BS in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace / Electrical Engineering (or related).* Experience: 2+ years in aircraft manufacturing, assembly, or integration.* Proficiency with ERP/MRP (SAP), CAD tools (SolidWorks/CATIA V5), and Microsoft Office.* Knowledge of fabrication (aluminum structures, avionics harnessing, airframe mods).* Understanding of production cost/schedule metrics.Preferred Skills* Experience in fabrication of metals (esp. aluminum).* Familiarity with avionics harnessing & aircraft modifications.* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (lifting up to 35 lbs, PPE, crouching/climbing).ProjectSupporting X-65 CRANE aircraft program - demonstrating Active Flow Control (AFC) for next-gen flight systems.
