Hi,Please find the below is the Job Description.Scope of Work: Legacy Application Support and Capital Project DevelopmentStart Date: ASAPLocation: Olympia WA (Look for local WA)Required Skill Set:C# .NetVB.NetASP.NetExcel and Excel MacroMS AccessSQL ServerAPI IntegrationMS AzureVisual StudioSVN or GITSharePointTypescript/Javascript Objective:Provide technical support and guidance for the capital project and legacy applications, with the possibility for the role to expand based on project needs and performance.Key Responsibilities:Enhance and maintain legacy applications using the following technologies:Excel and Excel Macro: Advanced data handling, reporting, and automation using Excel and macros.VB.NET: Support and development for legacy application features.MS Access: Database maintenance and form/report enhancements.C# .NET & ASP.NET: Application development and support using modern .NET frameworks.SQL Server: Database management, optimization, and querying for legacy systems and the capital project.API Integration: Integrate with external systems and data sources using APIs.MS Azure: Work with cloud-based infrastructure and services as needed.Development Environment:Visual Studio: Primary IDE for coding and debugging.SVN or GIT: Version control and collaboration.SharePoint: SharePoint management for document storage and collaboration.Typescript/Javascript: Frontend development and interaction for ASP.NET-based applications.Expectations:Collaborate with internal teams to review the existing application landscape.Provide recommendations and technical solutions to improve the performance and scalability of legacy applications.Contribute to ongoing development for capital projects, including new feature development and bug resolution.Act as a technical consultant, advising on best practices and guiding the team through development tasks.
