Consulting & Professional ServicesAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Director for Debt Originations to lead the origination efforts in the Southeast region. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and structuring commercial real estate senior bridge loans, as well as select mezzanine and preferred equity positions. This role requires a minimum of ten years' experience in real estate finance, with a proven track record in originating and structuring senior bridge loans within the Southeast markets. The Director will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including sponsors, brokers, banks, developers, and investors. Key responsibilities also include negotiating and closing complex commercial real estate debt investments, utilizing credit skills to identify and mitigate risks, and working with the underwriting team to prepare credit presentations.Applicants for the Director position should possess an entrepreneurial mindset, superior negotiation skills, and the ability to identify and mitigate key risks in real estate debt transactions. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects, a strong independent work ethic, and excellent attention to detail. Travel may be required, and the candidate should have appropriate educational credentials.
