This Senior Software Development Engineer will join a team responsible for building customer-centric software solutions that directly support business objectives. This individual will serve as a highly autonomous engineer who can translate ambiguous business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. On a daily basis, this engineer will work closely with business stakeholders, product leaders, and technical teams to rapidly prototype ideas, gather feedback, and deliver production-ready applications. They will own the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, backend services, data integrations, frontend development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building cloud-native applications using technologies such as Python, Vue.js, AWS or GCP, Terraform, and API-driven architectures. This individual will also leverage AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle to improve delivery speed while maintaining accountability for code quality, security, and performance. Responsibilities include designing scalable system architectures, building CI/CD pipelines, implementing observability and monitoring solutions, and proactively addressing security and compliance requirements. Additionally, this engineer will partner with product managers, business stakeholders, security teams, and platform teams to communicate technical tradeoffs, manage project scope, and ensure software solutions deliver measurable business value.
