This role assists pharmacy staff in meeting program requirements, ensures operational responsibilities are fulfilled, and helps troubleshoot member-related issues identified during outreach efforts. The Pharmacy Care Coordinator may also serve as a subject matter expert to other team members.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the successful implementation and execution of pharmacy programs and processesAssist pharmacy staff in meeting applicable program and operational requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve member issues identified during pharmacy outreach callsProvide guidance and serve as a resource for other Pharmacy Care Coordinators on the Quality Pharmacy teamCommunicate effectively with patients, physicians, clinical staff, contracted providers, and managementMaintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with departmental policies and proceduresUphold strict confidentiality standards regarding patient and organizational informationAdhere to ethical business practices and organizational guidelinesMaintain a high level of professionalism in conduct and appearanceRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of two (2) years of customer service experienceAt least one (1) year of experience in a call center environmentBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and OutlookBasic understanding of medical terminologyAbility to work independently with limited supervisionStrong organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated professionalism and commitment to confidentialityInterview ProcessVirtual, on-camera interview via Microsoft Teams
