Licensed Esthetician / Laser Technician
Position SummaryFraser Eye Care Center has a rewarding opportunity available for an experienced Licensed Esthetician to join our growing team. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Medical Doctor, this position performs a variety of aesthetic services, procedures, and consultations designed to improve and maintain the appearance and health of each patient's skin.The ideal candidate will have Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment experience or be willing to learn and train in advanced skin rejuvenation treatments. This role also includes assisting physicians with neuro toxin, filler injections, and various other skin treatments.ResponsibilitiesPerform skin care consultations and recommend treatment plans based on patient needsProvide aesthetic treatments including facials, peels, IPL, and other skin rejuvenation servicesAssist physicians during aesthetic injections and dermal filler proceduresScheduling oculoplastic surgical procedures for patients by coordinating available datesPrepare patients for surgical procedures as directed by the physicianProvide post-procedure skin treatments to promote healing and optimal outcomesEducate patients on skincare products, treatment plans, and home care instructionsMaintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemEnsure treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsDeliver compassionate, professional, and exceptional patient care, at all timesRequirementsCompletion of state-approved cosmetology programLicensed Esthetician or Medical Esthetician license from an approved state programMinimum of 2 years of esthetician experience, preferredIntense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment experience preferred; willing to train the right candidateCompassion and empathy for patientsAbility to communicate clearly and concisely when providing patient instructions and skincare educationStrong attention to detail and a steady hand for treatment and proceduresExperience with practice management software and EMR systems, preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWilling to work on Saturday, occasionallyReliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple office locations
