Apply via Dice today!Full-Stack .NET Modernization Developer 12+ MonthHybrid : Atlanta, GA (Tuesday Thursday) 7+ Years candidateWhat You Will DoApplication Modernization (Core of this Role)Lead the migration of legacy applications to MVC and .NET 8/.NET 10Refactor application architecture for maintainability, performance, and cloud readinessDesign and evolve RESTful APIs not just maintain themDevelop and support Azure Function Apps and cloud-hosted services on Azure App ServicesOwn SQL Server database work: schema design, query optimization, stored procedures, data cleanup, and version upgrades Frontend & IntegrationBuild and maintain React-based UI components as part of the modernization roadmapStrong understanding of Razor view engine for server-side UI renderingIntegrate third-party services and internal APIs; document every integration cleanlyImplement and maintain reporting using SSRS and Power BIParticipate in AI integration initiatives Azure Agentic AI services, Copilot tooling, and chatbot integrations where applicable Quality, Documentation & SupportWrite code that your teammates can read and maintain six months from nowProvide production support and own root-cause analysis when things breakMaintain application documentation, deployment runbooks, and user-facing guidesParticipate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and sprint ceremoniesRequired QualificationsThese are not aspirational. You will be the technical lead on that modernization, not a support resource.You will work on a small, focused team.That means you own what you build. You will design it, build it, test it, deploy it, document it, and support it in production.If you need someone to hand you tickets and watch over your shoulder, this is the wrong role.Work Location: Must be physically located in Georgia.Hybrid: Tuesday Thursday on-site at DECAL headquarters, Atlanta (subject to manager discretion)Mandatory in-person: All Hands, Enterprise Applications meetings, DECAL All Staff, and designated on-site milestones
